Whitby Goth Weekend. April 2022

Hello everyone.

A quick apology and explanation to those of you looking for my official photos of the April 2022 Whitby Goth Weekend. I was unable to attend or photograph the event this time around as I am still grieving the very recent loss of my wonderful wife, Margaret. I am naturally still overwhelmed and heartbroken by such an enormous loss and I was neither mentally or physically ready to attend the April 2022 Whitby Goth Weekend, nor able to carry out my duties as their official photographer. I'm sure you will all understand that it takes time to even begin to come to terms with such a monumental loss, and also that this timescale is different for each and every one of us.

I hope that all of you who managed to attend the April Goth Weekend had a great time, and I will see you all at the next Whitby Goth Weekend in October 2022.

Whitby Goth Weekend. October 2020

As you will all no doubt be aware, Whitby Goth Weekend October 2020 has had to be cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Although many people are saying they still intend to go to Whitby as usual, I have decided to stay away from Whitby as my small part towards trying to control transmission of the virus and also to protect my health and that of my wife, so no new photos of Whitby Goth Weekend from me this year I'm afraid. I'm sure that you all agree with me in hoping that we can get on top of this virus, and that the 2021 events can go ahead as planned. Stay safe everyone and look after each other.

TNT Fitness Charity Ball at Gisborough Hall, February 1st 2020

I am now starting to upload the photos I took at the fabulous TNT Fitness Charity Ball which was held in Gisborough Hall on February 1st 2020. This event was raising funds for Whitby & District Lions and also Leo's Neonatal Charity. Photos can be viewed HERE. On Saturday February 1st 2020 I once again have given the pleasure of photographing the Charity Ball organised by the wonderful people at TNT Fitness. The Ball will be held in Gisborough Hall, a four star country house hotel that combines modern day luxury and traditional features within its ivy-clad walls. The Ball will be raising money for various charities chosen by the organisers. I'm sure it will turn out to be every bit as successful as previous events have proven to be. Photos will follow in due course so please, keep checking back.

Whitby Goth Weekend October 2019

Well that's it. Whitby Goth Weekend is over for another 6 months. I am adding my official photos of the event now, and will continue to add as the days go by. The first batch are already uploaded for you to view. Thursday Night's entertainment and the audience in Abbey Wharf can now be seen here. Whitby Goth Weekend® April 2019

Whitby Goth Weekend® and the WGW® fringe events will be taking place from April 11th through to April 14th 2019 inclusive. There will be the usual Bizarre Bazaar market in the Leisure Centre, on the 12th, 13th and 14th April 2019 as well as official fringe events taking place in various locations throughout the town. The full itinerary can be seen on the Official WGW® website.

I will once again be there in my capacity as an official WGW® photographer to record all the fun of the event, the bands, the traders and people just having fun. I hope to see some of you there, and if you spot me please feel free to come over and say hello. I will be adding these photos in the days following the event, so be sure to keep checking back.

TNT Fitness Charity Ball. January 19th 2019

Once again I had the pleasure of being the official photographer for this annual event held in Gisborough Hall Hotel. It was hosted by TNT Fitness to raise funds for charities of their choice. All the attendees were resplendent in their beautiful dresses and suits, and all of them great sports. Photos, which are being updated daily, can be viewed here.

Whitby Goth Weekend April 2018

Once again, the twice-yearly Whitby Goth Weekend is almost upon us. Goths from near and far gather in Whitby to enjoy each others company, listen to music, shop until they drop, eat, drink and be merry. I will be there as usual in my duties as an official Whitby Goth Weekend Photographer to record the event. I will be photographing all the traders at the world famous Bizarre Bazaar Alternative Market as well as all the entertainment in the Pavilion Theatre and street portraiture. Whitby Steampunk Weekend

Nearly time for the 3rd Official Whitby Steampunk Weekend. It takes place on February 10th - 11th 2018. I will be there with my camera taking photos of this fantastic event. On the streets and various venues throughout the day, and on the Saturday evening in the Pavilion photographing an awesome line up of entertainment. Photos will be going up here in the days following this event. Be sure to keep checking back to keep up to date with my photos as they are added. If you've never attended a Steampunk event before, I highly recommend going to one. Lovely sights, and lovely friendly people.

TNT Fitness Charity Ball. Brain Tumour Research Fundraiser.

On Saturday, January 20th, 2018 I had the pleasure of photographing the Charity Ball organised by the wonderful people at TNT Fitness. The Ball was held in Gisborough Hall, a four star country house hotel that combines modern day luxury and traditional features within its ivy-clad walls. The Ball was organised to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research, a very deserving, but sadly underfunded charity. What a magnificent evening it turned out to be. The guests, who turned out in force dressed in all their finery, wined, dined, danced and played games. The most important part though was that they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and parted freely with their hard-earned cash. The total amount raised by this fabulous event was a staggering £3755!!!! which will help fund the fight.

I hope you enjoy looking at them. If so, please please please consider making a donation. Together we will find a cure.
