A little bit about myself. I'm Bob Slassor, a 73 year old photographer and I'm based in the North East UK. I've been very keen on photography since my early teens. I'm very privileged to be an official photographer for the world renowned Whitby Goth Weekend and the Whitby Goth Weekend official event @ Abbey Wharf. As such, I photograph all the bands who play in the various venues during the course of the twice yearly event as well as taking street portraits of those who attend and photos of the many diverse traders who are all a part of the event.  I also enjoy many other aspects of photography including photographing landscapes, wildlife/animals, alternative models, portraiture and event photography.

To sum me up in a nutshell, I'm never happier than I am when I'm pointing my camera at whatever subject happens to be in front of my lens at any particular moment. I hope this gives you a little bit of an insight into the man behind the lens. I have a guestbook, and would be grateful for any comments left by you.
